Volunteering & Training
Our Volunteer Policy requires:
One caregiver (age 16 and up) to volunteer for a shift for every meet their swimmer(s) compete.
It is essential to have trained positions filled in order for the meet to occur. If we have unfilled trained positions, we forfeit the meet.
Training occurs through the Rappahannock Swim League (RSL) website. Detailed instructions on how to get credit for your trainings are outlined on the page. PLEASE be sure to read the ENTIRE document. We want to make sure you are getting the credits you deserve.

**IMPORTANT ***
DO NOT USE THE EDPUZZLE APP to complete your training.
Please use the CHROME internet browser.
Please use a laptop or desktop computer (not a phone or ipad).
How to Signup for Jobs
- Click on "Signup Calendar" at the top of the page.
- Select the swim meet you are volunteering for by selecting the green “Job Signup” button located to the right.
Once you click on the JOB SIGNUP button, you should be able to see the volunteer jobs and the dates. You do not have to volunteer for the same session that your children are in the water. It can be for either of the two sessions.
Make sure you click SAVE ASSIGNMENTS. If the job position is completely filled, it will be indicated.
Once you have signed up for a job, it will be listed under your name. Another way to look and see what you are signed up for is to go to the very top of the page on the site and open the pull down tab to click on MY ACCOUNT. Once you do that, you should see a list of the entire family entered in Swimtopia and at the bottom will be your job sign-ups.
In case of an emergency, text or call Courtney Forbes at 907-830-1120.
