About the Fawn Lake Fliers Swim Team
The Fawn Lake Fliers Swim Team is a competitive summer swim team with swimmers ages 5-18. Our Head Coach is Nicole Kent who has coached the Fliers for 23 years. The 2026 Swim team season starts May 27 and concludes July 26. The Fliers practice Monday-Friday (see swim practices for more details). We have weekly swim meets beginning on Wednesday, June 10th. We are in the Battlefield division with 5 other swim teams. Three of our meets will be at our home pool this year, and three will be away. Swim meets are held in the evenings beginning at 6PM and concluding between 9 and 10PM. Swimmers arrive at home meets at 4:00PM and away meets at 4:30PM.
Any swimmer whose immediate family is a resident, lot owner, or employee of the HOA shall be eligible to join the Fawn Lake Swim Team. By accepting membership, each family agrees to abide by all of the rules and policies of the Fawn Lake Swim Team, Fawn Lake Community Association, Landmarc Real Estate and the Rappahannock Swim League.
Our History
The Fawn Lake Fliers were established in 1994 by Debbie McCormick and Patti Colletti with only 33 swimmers. With hard work and a lot of dedication, the swim team thrived, creating a great participation sport for the families of Fawn Lake. Since that time, the team has grown to over 150 swimmers. The team is part of the Rappahannock Swim League, comprised of 4 divisions and 25 teams, from the Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, Caroline, and Orange Counties.
