Fawn Lake Fliers Swim Team

Coach Nicole is returning for the 24th consecutive season and is looking forward to being back with our swimmers again.  She was a swim coach for Fredericksburg Christian School where she was awarded the 2014 VISAA Coach of the Year, 2014 Free Lance Star Coach of the Year, and 2015 and 2016 DAC Coach of the Year. She swam year round with Poseidon Swim Team in Richmond beginning at the age of seven. She graduated from Longwood University in May 2001.This will be her 29th year coaching. She is currently a stay at home mom of two, who also teaches private voice and piano lessons out of her home.  Nicole is a substitute teacher for the Spotsylvania County School District as well as Director at Limelite Theatre.

My name is Sarah Hybl and I am so excited to start my first season coaching with the Fliers! I swam competitively for over 10 years and have served as both a coach and a swim instructor over the years. I just graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a degree in English and Secondary Education. Additionally I am a high school English teacher in Stafford County! In my free time you can find me reading, cooking, traveling, or hanging out with my cat Phoebe!

Hello, my name is Sofia! I have been a Fawn Lake Flier since I moved to the neighborhood when I was nine, and I am so excited to get to continue to be involved with this amazing team as a coach. In addition to my nine years of swimming with the fliers I have also been volunteering for three and coaching for two. I am a rising second year at the University of Virginia thinking of majoring in history and philosophy. When I am not in school or at the pool, I enjoy hiking and the outdoors, reading, traveling, and spending time with family (including my french bulldog Nella) and friends. I can’t wait for another fun season of swim!
