Hi Team. The weather for Wednesday evening AND our scheduled raindate (Thursday evening) isn't looking very stable. Here are some things we want you to know...

• Safety FIRST. Lifeguards are in charge of identifying lightning/thunder and closing down the pool deck. They are in charge of telling us when it is safe to resume/start a swim meet. Please pack up and remain in your car if there is lightning/thunder. Board members, coaches and some official volunteers will secure the pool deck and equipment as quickly as possible. Do not take team equipment with you such as buttons, stopwatches and clipboards. Please avoid using the HOA building as this is where the reps, referee and coaches are meeting to decide the next step.
• Turn ON Notifications for Swimtopia on your phone. Coach will communicate via Alerts/Push Notifications thru Swimtopia. These alerts will automatically go to your email if Notifications is not enabled.
• The reps from both teams will be in contact throughout the day tomorrow and monitoring the forecast. No news is good news. The goal is to safely complete the meet as scheduled.
• We must complete 48 events in order for the meet to be scored for a win/loss. Regardless when a meet is suspended for inclement weather, all completed races with clean times count towards Finals.
