Hello again swim team families! 

The pool company has closed the pool for today due to high winds and potential heavy rainfall forecasted for the rest of the day.  Therefore the swim meet planned for tonight has been cancelled.  We have reached an agreement with Hampton Oaks to reschedule the meet for Monday, June 26th.  

What do you need to do? 

1. Update your swimmers' RSVP meet entry asap, but no later than Saturday at 9 p.m.  You must log in to Swimtopia and declare again for each swimmer for Monday's home meet.  This will be considered a NEW meet, so if your swimmer could not make it tonight, but CAN make it on Monday, they are allowed to participate! Again, please update your RSVP by Saturday night at 9 p.m. (but the sooner the better!)
2. Update your volunteer position if you can no longer attend the meet.  Please handle updating your volunteer position by making the change on the website yourself.  As long as you are still able to attend the meet on Monday, please plan on keeping the same assignment you had already committed to.  If you need to make a change, you must do so by Saturday at 9 p.m. Please direct questions re: volunteer changes to Rachelle Shields.  
3. We will have normal practices tomorrow, Friday, and Monday, weather permitting.  10 & Under swimmers practice from 8-9 a.m. and 11 & up practice from 9-10 a.m. There will not be fun practice tomorrow due to the meet being rescheduled.  If there is a practice cancellation due to weather, you will be notified via Swimtopia and our Facebook page. 

Thanks for your patience!  Rescheduling a swim meet is an enormous task involving many parties. We let you know the decision as soon as one has been made.  We appreciate your flexibility and CAN-DO attitude!
