Hi Parents.

My heart was full Wednesday night.  The giggles, excitement and friendships that happen during summer swim make all my efforts as a parent worthwhile.  Summer swim can be magical in some ways!

Even though our season is well underway, it is not too late to support the team in a big way.  We are still very short in trained volunteers, especially STARTERS!  This simple, but vital role, works closely with the Refs to announce each event and heat.  They also use the starter machine to start each heat after the Ref has given the "go".  If you have the gift of gab, or a strong voice, this spot is for you!!!  No huge prior swim knowledge necessary.

Please consider helping out by training as a STARTER or for any other role.  We could use some more STROKE & TURN JUDGES as well.  You can train by going here.  Go back to that site once you have completed the training and REGISTER yourself by reading the second blue box.  Email Rachelle Shields to let her know that you have trained.
