Swimmers should wear their team suit, hair pulled back or wear a cap and use goggles for the meet.

If you don’t have a team swim suit feel free to purchase a solid one piece suit for girls or jammer for boys at Dicks or online.

Swim suits and caps may not be worn with the name of another swim team on them.

If your swimmer plans to race with a sun shirt on, they must wear the sun shirt at all meets and champs. This is a league rule.

Swimmers should report to the coaches when they arrive for their event numbers.

Following warm-ups if your swimmer is in a freestyle relay we will organize them in an area to prepare for the relays.

Parents look at the numbers on your swimmers’ arm to be aware when their number is called to clerk of course.

Please use sunblock too! Pack multiple towels for your swimmer, sweatshirts for when the sun goes down and keep your swimmer hydrated during the meet. It will be cold when the sun goes down and you may want sweat pants for your swimmer too!

No horseplay will be tolerated at the meet.

Try to limit sweets until they have completed their races.

Ribbons will be handed out at the end of practice on Thursday.

Swimmers only receive ribbons if they place in the whole event not just the heat.Heat winner ribbons may be given but every pool is different. Swimmers will receive an improvement ribbon if they improve their time in swimming the event from meet to meet.

Have a wonderful day! Reach out to me if you have any questions! Feel free to text me if you have an emergency where your child cannot swim a meet.If you have a volunteer responsibility you must find a replacement and alert Lauren Stover or email: [email protected].
