Hello Flier Families!

The season has truly flown by this summer!  We're heading into our LAST regular season meet on Monday, July 18 at Leeland Station at 6pm.  Please be sure to declare your swimmer by Friday, July 15 at 9pm.  There will be no Flier practice on Tuesday, July 19.  The rest of the week, swimmers will practice at regular times.

The following week will be our last week of swim team for the season.  We have a lot of exciting events planned for the week leading up to Champs at Curtis Park on July 30.  First, we have our beloved Christmas in July party on Tuesday, July 26.  All swimmers will enjoy a pancake breakfast on the pool deck and fun games in the pool.  Next, we have our Pasta Party on Wednesday, July 27 at 6pm at the Sports Park.  (More details to follow.)  Finally, we have our end of season Champs at Curtis Park on Saturday, July 30.  Our team is hosting the event at Curtis Park, so be prepared to volunteer throughout the day.  

It has been a pleasure serving as your Fawn Lake Fliers President for the past three years.  As the season comes to a close, I want to thank all you of for your dedication, kind words and help throughout the season.  This is truly a wonderful team and I'm so happy all of our children have been able to experience a normal season of friendship and swim this past summer.

We are still looking for volunteers for the roles of President and Volunteer Coordinator.  Both positions require someone who lives in the neighborhood, has experience serving on a Board, knowledge of swim, good organization and the ability to communicate and work well with others.  Lauren Stover and I are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding these positions!
