Good Morning!

Wow!  What a swim meet last night!  Thank you to all our volunteers, coaches, swimmers and parents.  Last night was the Fawn Lake Fliers largest meet EVER.  We had 237 swimmers participate, of which 124 were from the Fliers.  It was a crowded pool deck, but we made it work!  Thank you also for supporting concessions!

Today, all of our swimmers will have a fun practice from 9:15-10am.  I hope everyone is able to join, even after the late night.  

One of my favorite parts of summer swim is the friendships that form and the fun the children have each morning by spending time with one another.  Many of the children come early to play kickball, volleyball and hang out, as well as stay after practice to continue the fun.  This time together though is largely unsupervised, as our coaches are on the pool deck working with swimmers and many parents (myself included) do not attend practices.  

Please remind your swimmer of the expectations of responsible and respectful behavior before, during and after practice.  We want all of our children to have fun and be safe.
