Good Evening Flier Families!

We are so excited to begin our summer swim season tomorrow!  

For new and returning families here are the important reminders for practice tomorrow and this week:

- Practice this week for all age groups is in the AFTERNOON.  Our 11 and up swimmers will practice first from 3:30-4:30pm and the 10 and under swimmers will follow from 4:30-5:30pm.  Note this is only for this week.  Morning practices commence on Monday, June 13.  

- The pool is closed during our practice times but parents, friends, and family members are welcome to watch.  We do ask that during practice that you simply watch and encourage.  (More on this during out parent meeting on Tuesday, June 7)

- If your swimmer is biking to practice, please remind them to follow all traffic rules for their safety.  Bikes, scooters, etc., may be parked in the grass during practice.  Please keep the sidewalks clear in front of the HOA building for community members to access the clubhouse.  

- Practice Attire: Male swimmers may wear jammers or regular swimsuits and rash guards.  Female swimmers may wear one-piece swimsuits and rash guards.  Goggles are strongly suggested, and swim caps may be worn.  

- Junior Flier practices will begin on Monday, June 13.

Our mandatory parent meeting is on Tuesday, June 7 at 5:30pm.  This meeting will take place inside the HOA building and should last about an hour.  During this time, the Fawn Lake Fliers Board will welcome the parents, introduce our coaches, review swimmer expectations, volunteer requirements and have apparel available for pick up and purchase.  If you purchased spirit wear, please see me (Stephanie Maxwell) before or after the meeting to pick up your swag.  If you would like to purchase spirit wear, we have limited quantities available on a first come, first serve basis.  

We will also be hosting Mellora from Sports Fair on Tuesday, June 7 from 3-6pm on the pool deck.  She will have our team suit available for purchase.  If you would like to purchase our team suit, please have your swimmer try on the suit prior to their practice time.  Please note that the team suit is encouraged, but not required. 

In addition to swimsuits, we will also have cinch bags, swim caps and pajama pants available for purchase via cash, check and credit card.  

We can't wait to see all of our swimmers in the pool tomorrow!  Looking forward to a great season together!
